- The Terminal Definitions item in the Settings Menu allows you to customize the way that Term-Plus© responds to cursor-addressing commands from the host system you are communicating with. The default settings correspond to CompuServe's "VIDTEX" terminal type. Adjusting these settings will allow you to configure Term-Plus© to emulate many stand-alone terminals and terminal-types. In most cases, you'll want to leave these settings unchanged. They will not affect the program on GEnie or most local BBS's. For more information on changing the Terminal Definitions, see the manual.
- Before Term-Plus© can respond to these cursor addressing commands, you must tell CompuServe that you're using a VIDTEX-compatible terminal program. To do this, enter "GO TERMINAL" at any "!" prompt on CompuServe. Select the "Set Terminal Type" option and choose "VIDTEX-compatible".
- The "Reset" item in the Settings menu will restore these VIDTEX-compatible terminal definitions.
